This is one of the devils best tool to destroy marriage. A man who do not want to make effort to provide for his family and also help in domestic work is lazy and a devil's tool. Such a man will wreck his marriage soonest.
A wife should support her husband in financing the home, she is to help her husband, hence, she should not fold her hands while her husband brings all the money home (if the husband permits her to work). Wivis shouldn't be lazy to cook for her husband, don't be lazy in home chores, don't be lazy in sex life. If you do, you are a tool of the devil and the result is wrecking your marriage.
· Lack of Trust and Suspicion kills marriage
Couples should learn to trust. Trust is to have confidence in something or someone, trust is a vital tool in marriage. Before you say "I Do" you should have had a good level of trust for that person hence in marriage, the trust should be amplified having no doubt about your spouse. You there is lack of trust in a marriage, there is no love and you can't go around that.
Your spouse can make or destroy you, so if love is the foundation of your marriage, trust should be your companion at all times. If your spouse is away, you don't have to be suspicious of your spouse's absence. You should be able to tell the likely place where your spouse would be even without a notice. Don't get possessive at all because your spouse is not a property. So if you lack trust and get suspicious in your marriage, you marriage is at the point of destruction so be careful.
· Lack of mutual respect kills marriage
The good book says " Husbands love your wives and wives be submissive to your husband". Without mutual respect, there is no love and that marriage is dying. If a husband doesn't respect the wishes or opinions of the wife, the husband is a tool of the devil.
The wife has a lot to play here in respect. Men are egoistic in nature, their pride is the wives and family primarily. Wives Do not see yourself as a maid, always see yourself as a wife when duty calls. Your husband is your "owner" as some will say hence he deserves your maximum loyalty and respect. Wives that don't respect their husband is not qualified to be a wife and as a result, that marriage is likely to crash.
· Unforgiveness kills marriage (Forgiveness is not optional but mandatory)
This is a great tool the devil uses to destroy "a good thing" if spouses lack forgiveness, there is little or nothing about the future of that marriage. Now forgiveness is not just a one way traffics. Take for instance, if the wife always sues for peace and reconciliations every time there is dispute in a marriage, this simply means that the husband lacks respect for the wife and he is nonchalant about the feelings of the wife. This also means that the marriage depends of the wife's ability and maturity to protect the marriage. This also means that the wife loves more in the marriage and same goes for the husband.
Forgiveness is what you ( husbands and wives) should do without any other persons influence. Forgiveness should be free, it should cost nothing. Husband's, forgives more and wives, forgive more. The good book says " don't let your anger sleep with you" lean to forgive before bed time.
As lack of forgiveness is a tool of the devil, forgiveness is a tool that fixes marriage. Which do you prefer?
· Arguments kills marriage
Yes, when too persons stays together, there must be disagreement on certain issue, but when there is love, there would be understanding eventually. Respect of opinions is vital in the case of argument, however, the husband is the head of the home, so wives, always be diplomatic in giving your opinions. Understand your husband's soft spot and always allow him to be in his comfort zone before bringing your opinions to issues if you do this, there is a 90% chance that your opinions will be carried.
In the case of argument, wives do not talk when your husband is angry and if you talk, do that with utmost respect. Husband, if you love your wife you will always listen to her when she speaks.
· Keeping secrets from your spouse kills marriage
Your confidence is your spouse. Hiding things from your spouse will end your marriage because when trust is evicted from your marriage, the marriage will end. Your spouse should know everything about you.
Your lawyer should know everything about that case, your doctor should know everything about your health, but your spouse should know everything about you.
· Every form of infidelity kills marriage (financial, emotional, psychological, material, etc)
Infidelity kills marriage,but some of the mentioned are optional. We allow some influence our thoughts and actions and as a result, it kills our marriage. If your spouse is too materislistic or lack contentment, that marriage will crash. However, the aforementioned are necessary to have a good marriage.
· Excessive sleep kills marriage
Hmmm how can this be? The good book says "a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of arms, so shall poverty come upon you". We earlier talked about lazyiness, but sleep is singled out here. Your marriage is a duty, so do not sleep on duty. Husband's that sleeps till 8am everyday is gradually burying his marriage because he is the head of the house and as such, should wake up and stay awake most time. Wives that does noting but sleep is killing her marriage. Sleeping is not just in bed, but distraction like too much social media activities, movies etc. 5:30am is an ideal time to wake up everyday.
· Poor communication kills marriage
This issues has been overemphasized and its only a fool that will be told or reminded about this. Its said that out of sight is out of mind, so goes for out of communication is out of marriage. Watch it and be guided.
