Define It Now
Dear Sisters,
Before Una go Call me Amebo or ask me Wetin
be your Business?
Just read with a Clear Mind.
It may just save another sister from
"heartbreak".
He comes close,
You allow him,
Welcome him,
You are seen together
Lunch hours, Dinners, Shopping malls, Church,
everywhere.
He drops you off at work, at the saloon,
Picks you up later.
You occasionally make his meals and he buys
gifts for you...
You are having a swell time....
You call yourselves up very often- odd hours,
normal hours...
You both PING-'PONG' on your black berries...
And it's just so so blissful...
"Are you guys dating?" you have been asked by
Friends and Colleagues severally.
He responds with a "no, we are just friends, very
good friends".
And you are cool with that yeah?
It's been months...now years, perhaps just a
year.
Soon he brings a wedding IV and you are
heartbroken.
Does this sound familiar?
Is this your current state?
Then, listen.
Stop for a second!
Step on the breaks!
Unfasten your seatbelt!
Don't walk away yet, but,
It's time for a real talk..
Help him, Ask questions. Define the relationship.
Know where to draw the line. Know your limits.
Don't drive away your prospects by an act of
carelessness.
Avoid the pain, Avoid the heartbreak.
They are indeed avoidable.
A simple question;
"What do you want from me?' may save you
from an ;
"oh God, why me?" later.
